Pirate & Princess Party - Anyone else???

DH & I just bought tickets to the Pirate & Princess Party for Jan 26th. We were just going to go in October for MNSSHP, but since this came up, we are now going to do that too.

Now we are trying to decide whether to buy a FL Seasonal AP. We let our others expire and were going to get the 3-day Play pass for our Oct trip. Now with this other trip planned, we were going to get a 4-day ticket, but the difference between the FL Seasonal AP and that is so little that we might end up getting the AP.

Has anyone else already purchased tickets to this?

The Brunswick Family will be going on 1/26 as well as attending MNSSHP in October. We are a family of 3 including a 3 year old daughter.

We'll be there on the 26th too--but with 2 boys we'll be leaning toward the Pirate side of things.

I just booked ours today, for 2/8. Also made ADR for LTT. Looks like a lot of fun. You guys hurry back and give a good report so we'll know what to expect.

I wanted to go on the 22nd because it is the first one, but figured it would be too crowded, so am thinking about the 26th. Now it looks like lots of us will be at that one too, maybe because it's a Friday? Hmmm...decisions, decisions!

If going to the P&P party, what time would you make your ADR and where?

I made my ADR's for Liberty Tree Tavern for 6 pm on the night of the Pirate & Princess Party. I'm pretty sure there is another place in MK that does character meals if you want a character meal. I think the characters will be in Pirate and Princess costumes.

I made my ADR's at the Kona cafe for 5:30. We are staying at the Poly, so this will work out well, we can come in from MGM, relax, have a nice dinner and off to the party!

We'll be there Feb. 5. I'm so excited!! We've never been able to do any of the ticketed events like MNSSHP because we always go in the beginning of the year, so I bought my tickets the day they went on sale! Now I'm just counting down the days. (Only 196 to go! Woo-hoo! )

We will be there on Jan 26th. The other restaurant you can make ADR's with for that night is Tony's. Made mine for 6:05PM. They did not have any earlier that night.

I really want to do both sides. I have a little princess with a pirate heart!! LOL. My husband and I will both be dressing as pirates since we already have those costumes from the Haunted Attraction we work for. But for DD I am going to get a Pirate Princess costume made. Something like a Princess of the Seas motif.

I am soo excited!!!!

We're thinking about buying tickets for the 22nd. This is only our second visit to the world and it will be our first event. Does anyone know if they will run busses to the resort that late for those at the event or will we have to rent a cab?

Has anyone heard for sure if any of the character meals will for sure have pirate/princess "theme". Will the characters be in pirate/princess costume?? I'm only doing a character meal if that is the case.

We will be there Thu Feb.7th. We are neither Pirate or Princess. Just a couple of wenches. Going with my sis. Will just be getting off our 4day cruise on the Wonder. Have ADR at Tony's 6p. Was told that was earliest offered. Party doesn't start til 730p. Should have plenty of time for dinner. I'm sure there will be transportation to/from resorts, just like other special ticketed events. I'm curious what kind of parade and fireworks they will have. Anyone heard any scoop on it?
