Pirate Pins and VMK Home Theater Items

A couple of tips....

1) I wanted those VMK Pirate items you get from buying the real pins and getting a card with a code with them. I am not near a park and never had any luck trying to buy online...but when I went to the Disney Store in New York City they had the pins for sale!

2) You can submit ticket stubs for Meet the Robinson's for Disney Movie Rewards that can get points to be redeemed for the VMK Home Theater Items. I submitted my movie stubs (our family of 4 went) and not only did I get 50 points per ticket, I got an additional 50 bonus points! So an afternoon at the movies netted me 400 of the 500 points needed for the home theater. The survey you fill out provides the other 100 points.

I just looked at the site and it says that the double points for movies is good through 4/15/07.

The pins are not for sale (to my knowledge) at any other Disney store besides the NYC location. This is because that location is the only one that Disney still owns.

All other Disney stores around the country (other than those in parks) are owned and operated by a company called The Children's Place. This is why you won't find the same things in these stores that are sold in the parks.

I've been in my Disney Store at the local mall and they don't have them. they only sell kids stuff.

The store in NYC is not a Disney Store that is part of the retail chain. It must be more like world of disney.

Have you got your code for the movie tickets yet?
I sent in my tickets with the form generated on the movie awards site and still have not got any code(s) for the tickets. How was it sent to you?

I have checked my account on the movie site and nothing is there, nothing in the mail either

I would say that in a week or less, I checked my points on the disneymovierewards.com site. I noticed that I had 600 points (400 were added as a result of the Meet the Robinson tickets/forms that I sent in), so I then redeemed 500 points for the VMK set. They don't automatically send you anything, you have to redeem your movie reward points and then the VMK code is shown to you. If that doesn't help, let me know and I will give more detailed instructions.
