So is the Pirate Party buffet desserts only or do they have other food as well? Can anyone elaborate if so??

I've only had the chocolate chip cookies, but I've seen the makings for tacos and they had turkey legs also. Lines are monstrously long.

Gosh yes, they had a *TON* of food. I'm trying to remember just what...I know there was a huge slab of beef they were carving at one point. I think I remember rolls, and rice. Lots of fresh fruit.

I agree about the lines. Position yourself on that side of the stage for easier access. It was less busy during the show, a mad rush to the buffet afterwards.

last week it was a "make your own nacho" bar, crepes, fruit, and deserts.

When you say monstrously long lines, how long are we talking about waiting? Also, are there times when the lines are shorter....earlier, later?

Is it all one buffet line or are there separate tables and separate areas??

They set up on one side of the Magic last time I cruised, and opened up just before the fireworks at the end of the show, to cut lines, but as soon as fireworks stop there is a long line, but moves fast,

You could enter at the start or Desserts stage on my cruise. But they can change it as they only set it up that night.

With late dining, we didn't see, or look for the pirate buffet last cruise. Is it on deck 9? any particular side? We are doing Palo early on Pirates night, so perhaps a buffet will look inviting this time. (Unless of course, we over eat at Palo...)

Deck 9, start just after Mickey pool, towards the Goofy pool. On my 2007 cruise it was port side, but I am sure its been on starboard as well on other ones,
