The last Disney cruise I went on was before they started with the pirate night thing. I personally plan to take it very seriously..but I don't want to be the only one! Is it mostly kids or is there an equal participation among adults as well?

This wasn't us, but it was on pirate night. Adults as well as kids take it seriously in some cases

We didn't dress up in any way for the pirate night in our cruise, and we were definitely in a minority. Even the staff in the dining rooms dress for the occasion.

Ive seen everything from homemade costumes that you would swear were DCL cms in costume walking around, to the average store bought costume to do it yourself costumes. This is for both adults and kids. Last cruise I dressed up and my wife and kids wore Pirates of the Caribbean shirts and the bandanas from dinner. Everyone does it to different levels.

Personally I take pirate night very serious. Here is one of several pirate costumes I have worn for Pirate Night.

You guys all look so good!!! I'm definitely excited now! pirate: Let the planning commence!

We had a group of 37 and we all had matching shirts but did see a lot of really awesome pirate costumes! People go all out!

I was actually working on a red and white pirate costume for last year's Christmas cruise but didn't get it together in time.

Lot of adults participating in Pirate's night aboard our Nov 7th Fantasy sailing ... you'll have fun ! :)

I am going on SWDaS. I can't figure HOW in the entire wide ocean I would fit Formal Wear, Informal Wear, Electronics and such, a Pirate costume AND a Star Wars Costume. I'm going to have to book a butler to go with me.
