Pirate Night on recent sailings

Hi all! I was wondering if someone on one of the most recent sailings could tell me if they still pass out bandanas and/or eye patches for pirate night. We were going to hit the discount costume store this weekend and pick up things and was wondering if I should get those or not.

We've only, ever, gotten bandanas. No eye-patches. As recently as last May.

They still pass out bandanas. The store onboard should have eye patches, t-shirts and Jack Sparrow hats for sale.

Awesome! One worry was smashing a hat in the suitcase so we might not worry about that either.

Hint for bargain shoppers: get an eye patch at the drugstore - they're cheaper than at a costume store.

Sailed less than a month ago and I'll reitterate....bandanas and no patches.

Hint for bargain shoppers: get an eye patch at the drugstore - they're cheaper than at a costume store.

Another hint for anyone sailing November or later....find a Dollar Tree near Halloween. Nothing there is over $1 and they do stock some Halloween costumes and supplies. We got eye patches, hooks, pirate jewelry all for $1 each.

There's a warehouse near my family's that has a bunch of stuff for cheap; it's the only reason we're looking. I also need to figure out a Halloween costume of some sort - if not for me, then for the mini-me. I'm almost going as much for the experience as to find a bargain, so I may just get ideas and window shop. Thanks for these suggestions!!
