I have convinced my husband that the whole family *NEEDS* pirate makeovers on pirate night. We are on the Fantasy for the 7night WC itinerary. Pirate night will most likely be our Jamaica day. We have the main seating for dinner. What time would you make the reservation for all of us to get our makeovers? I'm thinking 4:30? I'm also thinking that I would make it for all of us to go at the same time. Would that be enough time?

Before you point it out, adults CAN get makeovers on pirate night. Thanks!

Is there no one who has tried this? Oh man, my husband will kill me if he's the only one done up like a pirate!

OOOHHH how do you go about getting pirate makeovers? My family would love this!!

What ship are you on? As long as you are on a ship with the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you can book the makeovers when you do your online checkin/sign up for onboard activities and excursions. It wasn't on our first cruise, but my son LOVED the PL at DW and my daughter loved the princess makeover at BBB in the Magic Kingdom. She, of course, wants a princess makeover AND a pirate makeover! So....why not? :-)

They have Pirate Makeover, for kids at least, on the Magic. Not something you can pre-book online (no BBB as PP said). Just go to the Shops when they open and book a time. I don't know where the transformation takes place but fellow cruisers had their kids do it, both boys & girl pirate styles on Magic in 2015.
We never did it, he can get reddish rash from some of the face painting stuff, so I do his makeup with trusted Hypo Make-up products I have.

We are on the Dream.

kathy - You have a BBB :) Have a Happy Family Pirate Makeover It really is so fun!

Sorry I didn't :( but if I recall correctly on the Magic the kids had several packages to choose from. I looked at it while our friends were making arrangements. Their little mates got a $49 package (each) and it came with sword, pirate hat/scarf and makeup. They had one less and some more expensive. It looked like the same photos from packages from Pirates League at WDW. The adults opted out, but don't know for sure if they even offered on our ship. Our DS gets rashes so he can't get it done, but I get him a sword on board, bring an easy costume (although they have them for sale too) and I do his make-up using my make-up.
I do have to note that with my makeup it seems to last longer on him than the face paint they use for the kids on board. I must buy the long lasting eyeliner and lipstick LOL

The Magic now has a BBB, and you can pre-book Pirate Night and normal BBB packages online in advance.

Does anyone know how long a pirate makeover takes? I booked both my children in, but could only get my son in at the start of our dining time. I will go and see if it can be moved when I get onboard, but if it can't, how late will we be to dinner?

I guess that happened after March 2015. There wasn't one then. I heard she did have some more stuff done after the big reimagenineering

About 20 minutes for my daughter. We just did it on the Magic.

Hi! We just got back from the 7 night western Caribbean on the Fantasy and we signed the kids up for The Pirates League on pirate night. I would suggest going earlier in the afternoon if you can. My DD and DS' appointments were at 2:45pm. By the time they were finished, the pirate characters were out and we were able to get pictures with Pirate Daisy, Pirate Donald, Pirate Goofy, Pirate Stitich, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan before dinner at 5:45pm.

What time did they start coming out? We've got a longer excursion in Jamaica and I don't want to come back TOO early. If it only takes about 20 min...then 4:15 or 4:30 should be OK, I hope!

Yep. They had a launch for just Anna and Elsa makeovers on the East Bound Transatlantic last year, and then I think they added the full BBB in the dry dock.

Thank you!

We have done this twice on the Fantasy - also main dining. We book 5 pm which gave us enough time to get our 'pirate' showered and dressed and down there (an adult has to stay with them) and when finished, either go back to the room for about five minutes or right down to dinner.
