We went to this in 2006 and didn't really enjoy it very much. We have been to quite a few dinner shows, Arabian Nights, Dixie Stampede, Makahiki Dinner Show (Seaworld), Hoop dee doo, Spirit of Aloha and a few in other places (DLP, another Dixie Stampede), and enjoyed them all. However with Pirates it all seemed a bit chaotic. We started in a room where they serve some appetizers (included) and a pay bar, as well as 2 tiny shops. The room very quickly became very crowded with very long lines for anything, and by the time the pre-show started, nearly an hour later, we were all very hot and cramped and tired. Eventually we went into the show, which had a basic storyline but was very confusing and so much happening at once, people swinging around, some singing and dancing which was quite good. The food was ok, the service kind of lacked and we were brought drinks twice the whole night.
We were a party of 5, my parents, my boyfriend and I (23+25) and my little sister (10) and all agreed we weren't that keen and the only one we wouldn't revisit. I think unless you are really into pirates or have children who are it might be better to find another one. Obviously this is only our opinion though.
