This trip to WDW it will just be my 10 yo son and me - I'm sure we'll get sick of each other at some point. Would the pirate cruise be too babyish for him? Or does anyone have other suggestions he might enjoy doing, without mom? Thanks!
I don't think the Pirate Cruise will be too babyish. Read the description of it to him and see what he thinks. My sons love the kids clubs with the unlimited video games....that will give you a small break from him also.
If he's anything like my son though - you'll just get a big eye roll and sigh if you even mention breakfasting with Cinderella! Don't even think about it!
Yes - The Neverland Club and the Sandcastle Club. They have arcade style video games and usually a buffet with gourmet items such as hot dogs and mac 'n cheese. I think it's kind of a relief for them to get away from all the "fancy" restaurant food.
My oldest son - who will be 11 on this next trip - has asked to spend some time over at the Wide World of Sports. I'm not sure what they have over there because all of my guide books have limited descriptions --- some football simulation stuff it seems like.......but he is very athletic and plays several sports. I think just looking over the facilities will be a big thrill for him. My husband is going to take him over there while I take the 8 year old to the Pirate Cruise.
I'm sending a 10 year old girl on the Pirates Cruise in Nov. I think she will like it. I told her about it and read the description, that seemed to help.
