Pirate cruise

I like that idea! Or a "murder mystery" cruise! Like Agatha Christie without the train! :lmao:

Maybe murder on the monorail!!! Maybe we should talk to someone at WDW!!! :teeth:

Just an FYI - They are now offering Pirate cruises at the YC/BC and CBR. They are doing a "Jester cruise" at POR. SInce the GF Pirate cruise fills up fast these are some alternatives. My kids have done the Pirate cruise twice and are signed up for the POR cruise this time. THey loved the Pirate Cruise!

I am REALLY interested in the jester cruise at POR b/c that's where we are staying. Does anyone have any more information on that or where I can get it?

I love it! OK we'll split the patent! I'll get dibs on the murder, you get dibs on the monorail..! Oh, wait!! I take that back! :lmao:
It would be great fun though!

I love that kind of stuff and I think that would make for a great adventure! Someone probably already has it in the works........ ;)

I booked this through CRO. I know it was offered on Tuesdays, because that's the day I booked but I think it was offered two other days. They serve the same foods as the Pirate Cruise pb&j, goldfish, juice boxes, and some kind of gummy candy I think. It is held 11:30-1:30. HTHs.

I am going to show my ignorance, but what is CRO? Is the Jester Cruise about the same as the Pirate Cruise and do they go down the Sassagoula? That would be great b/c we could get a banana split and just hang around. If anyone has more information on that I would appreciate it.

I just tried to call about the POR and CB cruises and the CM knew nothing about either one, and neither did her supervisor. Do I need to call the resort? Or am I asking for the wrong thing?

Hiya,

My ds is 4 (will be almost 5) and love Pirates. But what if we get there and he won't go? Can a parent go with? Sometimes he's quite uneasy about trying new things.

Thanks!

Beth :)

ps. He also doesn't eat peanut butter...is there an alternative?

Is it only offered on Tuesday's?? I think my DS's would enjoy this. I would have them to the Jester Cruise. I love the theming of POR and I know my DH and I could rent a boat or bike while they are doing their thing.

Not all CMs are aware of the new cruises so call back!

I know it is offered on other days than just Tuesday (we just picked that one). However, I don't remember what the exact days were. Call CRO.

THe jester cruise is supposed to be similar to the pirate cruise, but instead of being pirates they learn to be jesters.

Parents are not allowed to go on these cruises. My kids have done the Pirate Cruise twice and I've never seen any kids refuse to go. They do pair the kids up so your child will have a "buddy".

HTH.

I would wait till he is older. Parents can't go, there would be no room for the kids! ;)

Maybe I'll talk to him, and if he's into it book it and if he won't go, I'll just shrug it off and forfeit the 28 bucks. Sometimes he surprises me with what he'll do. Maybe the Disney magic will take over... :)
