Pirate Cruise commute time

I have my DS6 scheduled for the pirate cruise in September. We are driving to WDW so we will have a car. Question: How long will it take me to get from POR to GF, park the car, and get to the marina. I am not familiar with the GF so not sure how much time it will take to drive, how far the marina is from the parking lot, etc. We have to be at the marina by 9:15 am. Thanks for your help!

Because you aren't familiar with the area, I'd plan on it taking an hour.

It's about a fifteen minute drive if there's no traffic holdups. The parking lot is a good hike from the marina, a good ten minute walk.

But you need to plan for getting lost while driving, and a potty stop at the GF before you go out to the marina, so I'd plan on an hour just in ase. If you get there early there are plenty of diversions at the GF. Shops, the beautiful lobby, and the ducks in the pool.

Wow! I was hoping it wouldn't take that long. I figured the drive at about 15 minutes but not sure about the parking situation at GF as the lot looks waaaaayyyyy away from the hotel on the map I saw and the marina looks like a good walk from there. Maybe we'll drive it on the afternoon the day before just to get the lay of the land. Thanks!
