Pirate costume for an almost 2 year old??

Now that the Pirate and Princess dates for 2009 have been announced, we are planning on attending during our trip. My DS will be 22 months. Where could I find a small enough pirate costume for him to dress up? I see one on Disneyshopping but it doesn't come with all the accessories (mainly the hat). TIA!

Thanks, I just checked it out and that would have been perfect but they only have 6-12 months. I don't want to spend a lot since this will be the only thing we use it for and who knows if he'll keep it on!

We picked up this pirate costume for our 2 year old for $9.99 at Party City right before Halloween. I'm not sure if there are Party City stores in NY, but there's got to be someting comparable. The shirt, pants, vest, and sash/belt are all one piece. It came with the hat, too. It's not a "Disney pirate" costume, but it's still recognizable as a pirate. They had another, more elaborate pirate costume (think Captain Morgan, the drink) for about $25, but we figured we'd go cheap since he'd only wear it for a couple of hours once in his lifetime.
I would have sent you this costume for free, but we already donated it to Goodwill.

Our Target still had a lot of smaller sized Halloween costumes, and they were all 75% off. I don't know if they had a pirate or not.

If you are just looking for something for one night, Little Tikes has one that is reasonable. I'm not sure it would stand up to repeated wearings, and you'd still have to find a hat. Shipping costs as much as the costume, though, unless you can find a code.

my one year old was a pirate this tear for Halloween and I had a problem finding a costume I liked and that fit as well so I got creative and made one! It was adorable and he can wear it when we visit the world next month as well. I just modified one of my daughters old puffy white shirts added some stains with tea bags for a tattered look and cut off the sleeves to a brown jacket I got off a clearance rack for a vest. I bought a cheap pare of black sweats and cut off the bottoms and added some patches with hot glue and embroidery thread from the cut off sleeves from jacket. You can add a red scarf for a sash around his waist. I got a peterpan costume from Disney store for practically nothing and it included boot covers which went great and I can use the other costume for next year! I got many complements and it was fun and easy to make. As for the hat... I bought one but baby wouldn't keep it on anyway. Bought a cool sword from the childrens place as well for five bucks. The whole costume didn't when cost me twenty dollars and it turned out better than any storebought one. Have fun with it!
