Pirate and princess party?

Hi, we are off to wdw in 7 days time. We are a family consisting of grandparents, mum dad and children 10 and 2. We were just wondering about the pirate and princess parties. Does it have to be pre-booked or can we pay on the day? I am a little concerned about the lateness of it for our 2 year old! however she will sleep in her pushchair and if she has had an afternoon nap would probably be okay. Any advice or opinions please.

We are going on 4th April, went last year also. Great evening, rides were walk on all eve, hoping its same next week.
Doubt they will sell out but book online to be sure, we got a discount with annual passes online.

Hiya -
if you book online, you can pick up the tickets at guest services. We are doing this for the P&PP on the 11th...

It is tricky to know if it will sell out or not - they don't normally do the P&PP in busy times like these, they have increased possible allocation from 25 000 to 30 000, so don't know if that means it is likelier to be booked out or not.... likelier to be busier than on quiet times in Feb anyhow.

We did the P&PP last year. Great fun getting dressed up, only t-shirts and hats in our case, but some people really go to town with costumes. Here's are mob on the ferry.

As Wayne says, it's great to wander round the park and just walk onto the rides. The only long queue we saw was to meet Jack Sparrow, and I heard someone say they were waiting for an hour. Needless to say, we did not wait and went on the rides instead.
We booked our tickets in advance and had them delivered, but as your leaving this week, suggest you go to any park guest services desk and get your tickets when you arrive. I can be a late night, but I am sure your little one will have great fun. Last year there are spots around the park to collect chocolate and beads (assume it will be the same this year) which may help keep your little one going trying to find these.
