So my son turns 3 at the end of March and we'll be at WDW early June. He LOVES pirates and I'm thinking of taking him to this event. For those of you that have experienced this event I have a few questions for you: 1) is it appropriate for a 3 year old and 2) if I decided to do it do I need to purchase a ticket for myself so that I can escort him?

100 more days 'til our next trip "home"

Hi There,

My son turned 3 at the end of December and we went to the PPP at the end of January and he had a great time. He loved seeing all of the cast members dressed like pirates and he LOVED the parade. The best part was that the we walked on all the rides, so we were able to ride his favorites (like Buzz Lightyear) over and over again. He also enjoyed the dance party with Sebastian. Lots of fun!

It is a late night....but he did fine after a nap in the afternoon. We were able to stay right until midnight.

Yes, you do have to pay for your own ticket.

Hope this helps!

I had two 4yr olds with me and they had a blast. They loved the dance parties! There were 3. They pirate: also enjoyed all the people in costume. Make sure you dress up. Adults and kids participate and it really adds to the fun!!!!!!!!!!
