Pirate Adventure Cruise

I am trying to use the search function but it isn't working properly.

So I thought I read somewhere that there was a Pirate Adventure cruise out of the YC/BC area. Is this correct?

Can anyone tell me about it or post some links for me to read about it?

Hope these help. I think there are 3 children's adventure cruises now available. My little guy, then 6, did the one at the Grand Floridian and loved it! Well worth the money and a nice change of pace from the parks and such...he came back with a great story and lots of "booty".

A little tip (I forgot to do this & regret it). Give your child a disposable camera to take with them. Next time, I'm sending DD with one.

My dds (5 and 7 at the time) did this last year at the Grand Floridian and LOVED it!!! They were talking pirate lingo for weeks. The disposable camera is a great idea!

I have reserved the pirate cruise at GF for DS6 durig our September trip. There is also the Albatross Cruise out of YC/BC, another pirate cruise out of CBR, and a jester cruise out of POR. You can reserve through Disney dining and if you ask to speak to someone in recreation they will answer every question in detail. I, too, searched all threads and there doesn't seem to be anyone who didn't think the cruises were a great experience. All cruises are 2 hours and about $30. Reserve ASAP as they ony run on certain days and they only seem to take a dozen or so kids on each cruise. Have fun!

How far in advance can you book? I assume 180 days?? If so I have another week left before I can start booking.

We will be at the BWV in January so the one out of the YC/BC will be perfect.

Just wanted to add that you should call first thing the first day you can because these events fill up FAST! I had more trouble getting the Grand Floridian pirate cruise than breakfast at the castle. (Tried to book for 2005 trip but only 1 slot open and I needed two -- this was calling 1/2 hour after lines opened on first day able to call.) Good luck
