I know that if it rains the day of the desert party we are going to have to use the back up location...will the money paid for the piped in music be refunded???:confused3 Or does the music get to be piped into the back up location???

Sorry to hijack, what is piped-in music?

I'm guessing she is talking about a Sago Cay Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party. For an additional fee, you can have the Wishes music and soundtrack come through the speakers of the DP venue so you can watch the fireworks with the corresponding soundtrack in synch, just like at MK.

Sorry OP, I do not know the answer to this question!!:flower3:

That is exactly what I was talking about...

...and it's okay that you didn't know the answer to my question...

I'd love to know the answer to this too, since we just moved our reception dinner/dessert party location to Sago Cay. :)

Talking of Sago Cay DPs, can I ask a few questions (I am sure these have been answered before, but here goes!!)
Is there any venue fee charged for SC or do you just need to meet a F&B minimum?
Is the F&B minimum still $500.00?
Are we certain that non-DFTW brides (eg S/D brides) can book a DP at SC and still wear their dress?
Thanks for any help!!

Theres no venue hire fee just the $500 F&B min for DP plus $75 fee for set up i think it is.
Not sure about the dress question, sorry.

The only place you can't wear a wedding dress is inside the theme parks. Period. It doesn't matter where you got married or even IF you got married, if you wanna traipse around any of the Disney resorts in a wedding gown, there is NO rule against this. :thumbsup2

I love the this thread...answered did answer a question...but still no answer to the original question...anyone...:goodvibes

I think you could ask Disney for a refund. I mean, if you can't even see Wishes from the backup location, what would the point be of moving all the sound equipment there? There may be a stipulation like that they'll need to make the rain call earlier than usual to save setting up the equipment or something, but it's definitely worth talking to your planner about and getting something in writing. :goodvibes
