Does anyone have any tips on pin trading? I want to start but I don't know all the details.

Check the Collectors Board. There are a bunch of recent threads on getting started pin trading.

Before you go to WDW buy pins as cheap as you can. Sometimes Disney Store has them on sale. Cheappins.com is another good place to buy pins. This is what we do. We then go to WDW and trade with any CM who has a lanyard on. CM's also wear lanyards at BB and TL. You can also find them at the Disney Marketplace. It is very addicting and very fun.
