Is there anywhere I can buy pins to trade prior to going to Disney World?

Right now there should be some for sale at your local DS (just started last week). What I did was ask for pins for Xmas gifts. If they're not what I like, I can trade them. And no problem with duplicate "gifts". You could also look on Ebay, but sometimes those get costly. The location of your Disney Store makes a difference about the selection. In some stores I heard, a lot were sold out within 15 minutes last Saturday (there are 8 new kinds released every week). But in the DS near me, I was in there shopping for at least 1/2 hour and never saw another person buy a pin. The racks still looked pretty full when I left.

The two choices I've found are TDS and pinstore.com

Both have pins for as low as $4. We will be doing our shopping tomorrow because TDS has 20% for Disney Club members right now. We stock up before we go and everyone has a few to trade while we are in the parks/resorts.

Ask this question on the collector's board & you'll probably get many more ideas. There are some great people there!

I just purchased from The Pin Store. They have a very nice selection but I found some pins pricey. Even so, they have what I wanted, less than ebay....

I agree, cheappins.com has a low - cost variety of pins in stock. This is perhaps your best, most abundant source of affordable pins. Even their shipping fee is very convenient. I don't always like buying from private sites because their prices can be very high.

Your local DS will carry pins that you can trade for, during the next few months. So, those two should get you off to a good start on affordable pins.
