ok, I'm new to this. I'm looking for cheap pins for my 5 year-old to trade when we go to Disney this Oct. Are the ones selling on e-bay from someone from Spain tradeable. I know they have to be official Disney pins how can you tell?

ALthough they are cheap, and SOME DO have
the Disney copywrite on the back... sometime
it is hit or miss...
ALOT of bootleg stuff is coming from over there these
days... AND they are not good quality for the
most part. Unless the person selling them was
from the US and I happened to know them from
a board or the park I wouldn't trust the seller.
They just want your money.

They are only official and tradable if they have
the copywrite Disney logo on the back.
But coming from another country where there
may or may not be copywrite laws (like Saudi Arabia)
they can put the mark on there to make it
look official and they aren't!

Myself, I would never purchase them...
I hate seeing them appear on CM lanyards
and I don't want to be part of that crown loading
the CM's with bad pins!

I would try doing a search for "Disney Pin Lot"
on auction sites, you can generally get pins
for anywhere from $1.50 - $4.00 a pin in lots
ranging from 4-5 pins to 10-15 pins each.

Good luck!:wave2:

Thanks so much for your reply. I know now to trust my instincts. I will not be purchasing any of these. Thanks
