Pins- ever valid on upgraded room types?

Has anyone ever received a pin that they could use on a room type other than garden view?

Yes, I got the 40% off discount email and booked GF RPC I had my choice of GV, LG, Theme Park view also.

I used the 40% off and booked a theme park view at the Contemporary! I had my choice of any of the views, but really really wanted that one! I did not give my code though until she had put everything into the system and quoted me a full price amount. That might make a difference........

I'll keep that in mind. I have a 20% off pin, but it doesn't apply to MK view which is what we really want, as well. She double-checked to make sure that it was just the pin that kept me from a discounted MK room (vs. the rooms being sold out) and it was. Bummer.

We booked to club level rooms at AKL with a 30% off code. My husband had to talk to guest services because when we origanally booked the cm we had said they applied our code to a villa but they didn't or we would have booked the club rooms. When we discovered that we were not given the code the we called back to get the cl rooms and there were none available. Guest services said we could call back everyday and the rooms would come available but my dh said he didn't want to do that since it was a cm mistake so guest services said they would take care of it ant 2 days later we had our rooms with the discount applied.

I booked a woodsview room at WL with a 40% off code. The code wasn't available on the standard view rooms (or at least there weren't any available for my check-in date), but the upgraded rooms were available.
