Pins bought at "The Disney Store"- retry

Not sure what happened with my last post....

I am wondering if pins bought at a place close to WDW, I think it's called The Disney Store, are legitimate for trading. I am headed to WDW soon and someone mentioned I should stop by there to stock up on pins. It seems a little too good to be true. She gave me one of the pins from there, it came on a card that said "The Disney Store" and it looked legit, but it didn't look like anything I have ever bought in the parks. Also, it had mickey heads & musical instruments covering the back. What do you know about these? Thanks!

Pins from the Disney Store are authentic Disney pins and are perfectly tradable at the parks.

This pins sounds like it could be one of the older Disney Store pins, maybe called Disney's Magical Music series (or something like that). I'm not sure what particular place your friend is referring to, though. Any metal-backed pins (none of the completely plastic ones) from The Disney Store are legit for trading. Also, any pin that has "copyright Disney" or "[copyright symbol] Disney" on the back is fine for trading at WDW.

If you have any questions about a pin, take a look at PinPics.Com. You can put whatever description (Disney characters, colors, etc) in the search box and find your pin! You can also take a look at how many people have your pin available for trading vs. how many people want it. For instance, if 100 people want it but only 1 has it?...might be kind of rare.
