:confused3 I know this has probably been asked before but I can't find it! Sorry! Does anyone know of my girls will be able to take their pins and lanyards through security? We are flying out of Detroit on Friday and we really want them for the Halloween party that night so I am afraid to pack them in checked luggage!:confused3

We packed ours in our suitcases. However, the last day in the parks I bought 3 or 4 taking my chances that I would be able to take them on the plane, and I had no problem. I was worried, though.

If you go onto the TSA website, you'll see that they allow larger and sharper items than Disney pins. They are totally permitted in airliner cabins. You'll have no problem whatsoever.

Yes put them in your carry on worse thing that will happen is the bags with pins will get extra look see. My friend has flown through DTW with pins in carryon no problem.

When flying from Toronto - Orlando and back home sometimes my pins have been searched and other times they were not, so I have never had any problems taking them on the plane in my caryon bag.

Check out the TSA web site.

I wonder sometimes if their efforts are misdirected.
