pins and kids lanyards question

Last year we got the free laynards from our costco package. It was huge on DD who was 3 at the time and she couldn't wear it, but wanted to. Do they make a kid size one you can buy?

With that free lanyard we each (3) got the same pin. I think DD would have fun exchanging pins this year and would also like to get her a couple to start her a collection. I know some Disney stuff you are never supposed to get rid of (like the luggage tags they give you), how's about the pins? We don't need 3 of the same ones unless we "should" keep them. Are the package ones anything special?

Also, do you think the pins will be the same again this year or do they change them out every so often.

Thanks!

This pin stuff is all completely new to me :)

I'm not sure about the pins but they do sell child sized lanyards. The ones I bought my kids a couple years ago were in the gift shop right outside Buzz Lightyear in DL. There were at least four different ones to choose from.

The party store Party City has child size lanyards for $1 if you have one near you.

A good place to buy pins is on ebay. It is cheap and easy to buy pins in bulk to trade with CMs in the parks.

DS liked wearing his big lanyard across his chest. Was part of his imaginative "I'm a pirate" outfit. :goodvibes

When we did our package way back in 07, the CM that gave us the lanyards and pins etc (we had a voucher for them and took them to detain places or redemption) asked if we would like to trade the pins right then. Hubby did and was happy to do so.

:thumbsup2 I buy them all through eBay.

There are some great sellers out there. Some will combine shipping. Last year I got 39 pins for under $30. :woohoo: Yes, all tradable pins. Some they kept, some they traded. My kids have 2 lanyards; one for collecting and keeping and one for trading.

Gosh we are geeks. :rotfl2:

There are some great deals on ebay and not just with pins. Ebay is a great place to buy WDW and Disneyland shirts.
