Pins and Airport!!

My mom and I are leaving for the great and wonderful place of happiness aka Disney World tomarrow and I was wondering if I should put my pins in my carry-on or in my regular luggage.

If you could answer asap.

On my way down I decided to be safe and put them in my checked baggage (I only had a few on my backpack), but on the way back I forgot to take them off and I was fine with them out and visible like that. I don't know what the official policy is but I felt much safer with them in my checked baggage.

I would NEVER trust anything of value to checked luggage. I'd definitely put them in your carry-on ...........

If you put them in your carry on be prepared to be very patient with the security......I just took mine to DIS CON and on the way down it took up wards of 5 mins + to have them go threw my 2 pin bags.....I didn't mind because i knew it was going to happen...but be patient they are just doing there job.

On the way down I had them in checked luggage.

On the way out of MCO, I carried my new WDW pin bag like the extra bag allowed (like a purse or laptop). Security just asked if it WAS a laptop & when I said no, they just popped it thru the carry-on xray with absolutely no problem. They might want to open it to confirm it's not a laptop but that's about it.

There shouldn't be a problem if you carry them on.
