Does anyone know the current prices for Pinocchio's Workshop and the average prices for babysitting from the agency that is used by the onsite hotels? We have 2 kids, and Pinocchio's charges per child and a babysitter would probably charge an hourly rate. DH and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary, so we'd like to go for a fancy dinner or maybe do the fantasmic dessert package. A babysitter would be nice because the kids could go to bed, but I think they would have more fun staying up late at Pinocchio's.

A CM at the Grand said that Pinocchio’s Workshop is $13 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Children have to be within the ages of 5-12, and the Workshop is open from 5 to 12 midnight. I believe they can provide dinner for your kids for an extra charge.

There is a hotel babysitting company called Around the Clock Sitters that leaves their business cards at our hotel. Their website says $16 - $20 per hour depending on how many children they have to watch. They have a 4 hour minimum and they have a travel charge of $8 per sitter.

Another company I found online says they charge $20 per hour base rate, for 1-2 kids. Extra children and other fees may apply. They also have a 4 hour minimum.

Great, thanks for the info! So, for my family it looks like at least $52 for Pinocchio's for 2hrs (which is all we'd really need) and $72-$80 for private (but we could take our time).

What would the kids be doing if you hired a sitter? If you want them to be able to go to the hotel pool, you'll have to specify that as not all of them will take that responsibility. You'll also have to pay for a DL ticket if you want them to go to the park.

My kids really enjoyed Pinocchio's when they were 5-7. After that, they enjoyed going to the pool with the sitter more, although they felt awkward when it was time for bed and a stranger was there.
