Has anyone used this kids club at the Grand Californian? We were thinking about making ressies for our three kids so dh and I could have some quiet time. Just wondering opinions, and if the kids liked it. thanks:)

We used it on Wednesday night.

They open at 5pm and close at 12. They charge $13.00 per hour and $7.00 per half, and only for ages 5 to 12. It was VERY cute and DS6 said he had a good time. If you make a reservation you have to cancel 24 hours in advance or they charge you the 2 hour minimum. Reservations can be made at Guest Services. We did not make ressies cause we were not sure what night or if we would use it. They never filled up on any of the nights we had inquired.

They have lots of stuff for the kids to do like: arts and crafts, games, Disney movies and even PlayStations :sad2: . They also offer dinner for $5.00 - a choice of Cheeseburger, Hotdog, Chicken strips etc. Dinner is served at 7pm.

The best part... they have a special balcony for the kids so they can view the fireworks with the music pumped it --- DS said it was GREAT...but "some kid just kept talking and talking the entire time and it was annoying" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: If you would have asked me WHO that child was I would have said HIM!!!

In humor... I said Oh..... how annoying was that? DH and I just about peeded in our pants!

To us, it was worth it cause we got 4 hours to ride the BIG kids rides TOGETHER and not have to do "baby swap". :cool1:
