Yes, according to staff (VMK_Flamingo - fitting, since she is pink, lol) we will be able to say 'Pink' in VMK starting tomorrow :)
YAY
:Pinkbounc
EDIT: oops, she did say it was a secret, but, told a WHOLE room full of people....

starts to sing...

You could be my flamingo
'Cause pink is the new kinda lingo
Pink like a deco umbrella....

oops, sorry. I have a tendency to just go off on aerosmith tangents once in a while lol. ;)

That's Cool. :smooth:

Really?? I know there has been a huge debate about it. I also know that several of the staff really don't like it cause of the incident back in beta (don't ask me, i don't know).

But that's good to know that they are adding it back in. Yay! :cool1: :cheer2:

That's what you guys were talking about. I was busy trading and missed it. I thought people were just asking -again- why they couldn't say it.

Wow, you're quick! It's not much of a secret with VMK_Flamingo asking
VMK_Runo, "Did you tell them the big secret?" :rotfl2:

I was happy to find out that pink will be back in the dictionary. :)

I really thought I wasn't going to be on, but I really, really must disconnect
my computer now, as I put off until the last possible moment for the painters
to patch and paint. :)

I don't understand why we couldn't say pink in the first place. Silly, it seems. "pin kk" works just fine, but this will be easier (and no "dancing" needed!)

Now they only have about 3,000 other words to add that would be useful and in no way inappropriate.....I found out earlier that you can't even say "embarassed". How can that be bad? You can say "ashamed" though....

If my memory serves me correctly I think someone got out of line with the word pink and was using the color to describe things -- I think that is what happened :confused3 anyone else?? (with the BF/GF issues)

That is just silly...anyone with a dirty mind could construe any word (almost) to describe something inappropriate. I would assume that is why we can't say "legs". But you can say "privates".

Again, I would love to work for VMK. I have so many ideas of how to change it for the better. Who knows how you can apply? :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

Hmm maybe. I still don't know if they have an actual office or if people work from home. Depending on the pay, I may be willing to drive to Orlando for work if they have an office there! Getting paid to play VMK all day....can't beat that! I dunno about being a CL....I wanted to at first, but it seems a lot of people have changed their minds and decided not to be a CL anymore for one reason or another. I may still apply....I'm just worried that If I become CL_Miakoda and then decide to not be a cl anymore, I may not get "Miakoda" back (like what happened to someone...I forget who...MouseTyme I think). I can't imagine anyone else wanting that name, but there IS someone on DIS with the name Miakoda....hence the "WDW" at the end of my name! I looked all over the VMK site for career opportunities and did not find a thing...I'm wondering how people found out about the job in the first place! Maybe I'll ask next time I go....anyway I'm way off topic here so...

PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!! PINK!!!

Yay! Now I don't have to call you "pinky" anymore. :)

Hey Guys,

Pink may be in, but baby is now out! Found out when I was "remixing" one of my songs. It has the word baby in it.

It's what?! LOL Now I can't walk over to people and laugh at them when I ask them to go out and break up with them! Now I can't say:" You cry like a baby!" Anymore :'(

yes, much to my chagrin I noticed that MANY words had been taken out of the dictionary. Ya, da, baby, kk, and a bunch of other silly ones I cannot remember right now. Also some useful ones that really irked me. I use "Da" in one of my best comedy club jokes! Well I will just tell the VMK version here then:

"What kind of car does 'Look' Sky Walker drive?"
"A Toy Yo Da!"

Oh yeah, can't say stick or sticks which ruins my favorite and corniest joke, what is brown and stick he. A stick.
There are more.
You will find them.
And be irritated.

What is sulake and where is "around there"? Like around DL or WDW? And how did you find this out if I may ask?

I asked a staff member that I saw in the Emporium how I could be staff and she simply said "you can't". Not very clear. many others were crowded around pestering her with questions so I didn't get to ask much more about it.
