Pink eye for 2nd time in 6 weeks

Went to eye dr. today. It's definitely bacterial. I did everything right last time I thought. Do you think I should get rid of my actual eyeshadow not just the applicator now? ARRRGH! THis is going to be expensive.

Yep, I'd toss it.

Yes, toss any makeup that you have used both times.

If you can go without it, I wouldn't wear anything around the eyes until it clears up and start fresh.

With bacterial or viral you're supposed to throw away all eye makeup, not just applicators. It makes sense...if it's on the applicator, it's in the container too.

Toss out ALL makeup and applicators that could remotely come in contact with your eye.

Yep, i say toss everything that came in contact with the eye..Including contacts, if you wear them...wear glasses until it clears up...
Just some pink eye advice from lil ol' me...

I can't believe they didn't tell you specifically to throw out any and all eye makeup!

Not to be rude, but would you rather buy new eye makeup or continue to get pink eye???

Oh, Of course I'd rather throw it out, I'm just whining! Last time, I was on vacation and I hadn't used eye makeup for the 2 days before symptoms so I thought it was ok to not throw out my eyeshadow. I did get rid of the mascara I had used.
