Pink and Jewel Meet at Last!!

For a long time now it has been my wish to meet my best online friend, TigressJewel. Well, yesterday my wish finally came true!! I found out she was at Epcot, so I hopped a boat from MGM and met up with her and her husband and 2 children at the Fish & Chips stand in the United Kingdom

I have to admit, I was so nervous. I am very shy in real life (don't laugh!) and meeting new people is hard for me. But wow, as soon as I gave her a big hug (and I didn't want to let go of my beautiful friend!), I felt so at ease with her. Just like our times hanging out in VMK, we had a lot of laughs. I think her husband got a kick out of me, not sure why though... Unfortunately, our time was cut very short by a sick boy. Had to leave Epcot and head back to the hotel with him.

I'm still at the hotel with a sick boy today. Was hoping to meet Jewel again and spend the day at the Magic Kingdom, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. As soon as my son says he is feeling better, I AM OUT OF HERE!!!!

I do have to say that the highlight of my trip was watching my lovely friend bounce with Tigger in the UK!!!!! She really did bounce around with him, and her beautiful face was all aglow like she was 5 years old all over again seeing her favorite character. It's a memory I will cherish forever.

Umm..... I do that too But good point! I will pass that along to Be.

Another thing to be careful of is, I was at VMK Central playing my character and a man came up behind me and was watching over my shoulder. All of a sudden, he yells out "PinkGirlygirl!! You are PinkGirlygirl??? I know who you are!!" Arg!

I have had the opportunity to meet most of my closest circle of VMK friends in person and yes, it is wonderful when you realize how well you really do know each other, even though you have just met in person for the first time. Glad you had a great time!

I do want to add for all the kids reading these boards, that I recently had a chat with a vmk friend of mine who I know is under 18. Although we all do have fun in game together, the true fact is that you DO NOT KNOW who someone "behind the character" REALLY is. If you are under 18 and have an opportunity to meet vmk friends in person, please please please involve a parent in this meeting.

With the wind storm we had we were without power for 4 days. Work and stuff have kept me away from VMK and I have only been on occasionally. I miss everyone and hope to "see" you all more often as thing settle down here.

Well Pink it seems like you all are having a blast! (Except for the sick kid part, of course.) It is always great to make new friends at the Happiest Place on Earth.

My DH asked me if there was a support group for VMK addicts, and I told him "of course there is, we have our meetings at the park". At which point he rolls his eyes and leaves the room. LOL

It just so happens that I have Friday off at work and will be heading to the kingdom.

I wonder if they have any vmk pins left?

Anyway, who's up for meeting at VMK Central on Friday at 11:00? I promised Out I would buy him lunch for his Christmas present. Would love to finally meet you!

AWW... Now I'm all verklempt because I miss Pink already!! We had such fun, and yes I did bounce with Tigger!! woot! I also kissed his fuzzy nose and he couldn't stop hugging and kissing me too!! I think he cried when they made me leave him.
It was very very special meeting Pink finally and we both cried like babies when we had to hug goodbye. I know its only so long though and we will meet again! I should also add to this that we were able to meet again at MGM when Brandon was feeling better and I rode Tower of Terror for my first time with my brave Pink friend! She had her arms up in the air the whole time and I had my arms wrapped tight around Propman's strong arm. Yes, I screamed and it scared me to death! It was truly wonderful though hearing Pink giggle through the entire ride! I just hope that Pink isn't still upset with me for telling on her to Auntie Claire in the Prime Time Cafe though. Luv ya pink!

JORDAN!! I'm so bummed I didn't get to meet you, and so was zsert! I do hope you had a great time with gamebot though. We absolutely must meet you next time though dude, no excuses!

I'm so so sorry that we missed meeting you and Out!! I didn't have internet access at the condo we stayed in, only the business center which seemed to always be locked up when we got back from the parks, except for one night. I had left Out our cell #, but I think he got that message late also. We were at Epcot on Friday and met up with Roxane, it was great fun!! It looks like we just need to start planning a trip again so we can make sure to have a big meet with everyone!

Oh I'm so glad you two finally got to meet! Pink, isn't Jewel just the greatest???? I had so much fun with her at Disneyland. And..I am also glad, Miss Jewel, that you had so much fun with Tigger...I know how disappointed you were that you missed him at Disneyland...
