...it's still BIG! In fact, WDW has several major pin events per year. We find the best places to find great pins are:
1) Pin Central in Epcot (just behind Spaceship Earth)
2) The America pavilion pin cart has good ones
3) Occasionally, the BoardWalk pin cart features some you can't always find at other places.
4) I also enjoy shopping for pins next to the Events Board (corner of Sunset and Hollywood) at D-MGM. They usually have a good supply.
One word of advice: Always *ask* cast members at the prime pin locations if they know of any limited edition or special pins that will be released soon. Sometimes, you can get a "scoop" and know where to be once a special "baby" is released. (That happend to us once at D-MGM.)
Also, if the other three parks are sold out of a good pin--and you have the time to make the trip--occasionally, Animal Kingdom sells out more slowly than the other parks. However, personally, I wouldn't risk a special trip unless you have the ample time.
