Pin trading?

Just wondering if there's any pin trading on 3 night cruises on the Dream. We're starting to pack, and I wondered if I should bring the kids' lanyards or not...

Absolutely not. Disney does not want to take your money in exchange for small pieces of metal in vast quantities that can rapidly extinguish your OBC!

OK, I'm kidding. Yes, there is official pin trading as well as trading with any of the CMs wearing lanyards. These are typically the CMs at the restaurant doors handing out wipes, Guest Services, people in the shops, etc. If you don't see lanyards at these places, feel free to ask. The deal is that when they get busy, the lanyards go into the drawers...and they may not come out again when the crowds are gone.

Just finished a 3 day on 10/16 and I found the trading to be invery short supply. they had one official trading with the officers on the last night but other than that it was few and far between.

I did go by the shops at quieter times and even then only a few of the CM's had any pins. You do have to ask because most had the hip laynards and they were hidden.

If I remember correctly (and if they still do it) there is a night when you are able to trade with the crew.

thanks for the input. i'll leave it up to the kids. there are so many other things to do on the ship, i'm not sure they will be interested! good to know it's available. personally, i love the pins.
