Pin Trading

This question is especially for CP-ers/CMs....but is there a place for CMs to buy/trade pins?

I would say that the biggest places to buy them are Disney University (cast exclusives), Property Control and of course, the SALSA sale!!! I don't know of any cast specific trading places though.

i don't want to steal jana's thunder since i obviously had no idea about until 5 minutes ago

but it is caled "Save A Lot Spend A-little" (aka SALSA) (And PLEASE add more to this since I have never been and don't know much)....but it is a huge tent sale for Disney merchandise.

Please share more info! You folks are great!

The SALSA sale is amazing. It is only for cast members on the first day. After that, you can bring up to 5 guests. There is tons of Disney merchandise for up to 90% off. There is also one day where they sell just pins for like $1. It is the best because even if some of the pins aren't the best, you can buy them and still trade them for better ones. They have this sale once in the summer and once in winter. It is set up under a couple of tents on the far side of the EPCOT parking lot. I am not sure when it is going to be this year, but I will keep you posted.

The SALSA sale only happens twice a year. Once in the summer and once in the Fall I believe.

The Cast Pin Parties are a great place to get cheap pins though. They happen around 4 to 5 times a year.

you can also buy cheap 'pins at Property Control but they are outdated like old holidays and stuff.

The pins that you wear and trade as a Cast member are provided to you by your work location but you cannot keep them. The are strictly for trading.

you also get a 20% discount at all Disney stores and that includes pins!

What happens if you don't trade them all??? Just kidding! Anyway, I love the pin trading..but I am soo excited to be a Cast Member there in August!
