I have only done a bit of trading. How much does the average pin cost? Do they have to be bought on site to be traded. I have several pins from other trips that I don't really like and would like to trade for something better. I do know how to make a trade and who and where to do it.

Pin trading is a lot of fun! The average pin costs around $8.00. You can trade any Disney pin with a cast member. Check out this cool website on pin trading www.dizpins.com

Have fun!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

My soon to be eight yr old DD is "too big" for autographs, but this will be a great thing to start for our entire family!

Be careful - it quickly becomes addicting!! Also look at TDS for the cheaper pins or groups of pins that can still be traded separately - saves a little $. And today when I was buying more pins and talking to the CM at TDS she told me to watch the bottom racks (at our store, anyway) because that's where they place the discounted pins that people bring back from the parks (after they get home and realize they have spent way too much $ on pins!) - I'll be keeping my eye on that rack- then you can use the cheaper pins to trade with the CMs in the parks for the pins on their lanyards - my DS loves meeting the CMs and talking with them, too.

Hi there! Caution: pin trading is very addictive! :) In order to get more hints on pin trading, I am transfering this over to the Pin Trading board. Please look for further responses there. Thanks so much! :)
