Pin Trading w/Scoop

Does anyone know if Scoop Sanderson is still around? We happened upon him about 3 years ago. It was alot of fun. We played "what's that flippin pin?" and my daughter (7 at the time) won a Belle pin.

Anyway, we were wondering if he is still doing his pin talks at the Magic Kingdom.

Scoop Sanderson - Main Street Gazette Reporter, Town Councilman and Disney "Pinthusiast" - will tell you how to trade Disney pins, how pins are made and will answer questions about pins and Disney Pin Trading.

So whether you are new to the exciting world of Disney Pin Trading or you are a long-time Trader, we invite you to attend this exciting event at Exposition Hall at the Magic Kingdom Park.

Sunday, November 20 is cancelled.

Scoop's seminars are Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays at 1 pm through the end of the year, except as noted above.

After the first of the year, Scoop's seminar schedule will return to Sundays - Wednesdays at 1pm.

I love Scoop and his puppies. We always make sure we see him and try to make it to pin talk if possible. He also MC's the opening some mornings if it is the Mayor's day off. Scoop gave me a wonderful pin for my birthday. Then last month my sister and I had done a favor for Hildegard (Main Street) and he gave us both pins that day.

We got to meet scoop on our last trip, he had a guest with him, Steven miller who had brought loads of new pins in to show us what they have coming out over the next months/year.

Once his guest had finished Scoop organised us into teams to go around main street trading for certain types of pins. When all the teams got back, there was a play off between the two winning teams.

We had to think of different words begining with letter C that walt used to describe attributes to live by. it was very hard....

But we won!
All the runner's up got to chose a hidden pin from scoop, they were all from the new fourth series of lanyard cast member pins, we also got to choose, then we got to chose a DA pin and finally Scoop gave us each a CTT pin for taking part.

And that all happened on the last day

I have made a lot of changes to our itinerary to see Scoop during our upcoming trip. I can tell you that there is only one man in the World that would cause me to park hop 4 times and visit 3 different parks in just one day and that man is Scoop Sanderson. 4 weeks from tomorrow, I hope to enjoy his company again.
