pin trading ??? updated 7/7/03

I was at a gift type store and they had some disney merchandise marked down. Not please understand I'm just on the lookout for cheap pins for my DDs to have some to trade. We are not big into trading, they have eached picked a theme and hope to find pins on the CMs to trade with. So far I have bought them each a couple marked down at the Disney store. Can't even remember what they are b/c they were bought to trade!

Anyhow, back to the point, the pins I just saw were Classic Pooh, seemed to be Disney but not made by Disney? Does this make sense? Are these pins tradable to CMs??

If you're referring to the Hallmark Pooh pins, yes they're tradable. Check the back of the pin, it should be marked c) Disney. These are perfectly allowable for trade to a CM.

The Disney Store was giving away a free pin today to all customers. She told me they would have them another day or 2 until they run out.

i just got the chance to swing in the store again

the pins are by Michel and Co., though it says Walt Disney Corporation on the display. Are these eligible for trading??

on the back of pin it has the year and "Michel and Co." or something very similar, can't remember if it's Co. or Company. anyhow, you get the idea.

Our store had a liberty bell pin that said C Disney right on the back.

Not sure, it sounds like your store had something different.
