Pin trading question

Although I have been to the parks multiple times, I have never done any pin trading. Do many adults trade pins? Or is it mostly kids?

My DH and I have been trading for the past 5 years, we are 34 & 42.
We only trade for the week we are down on vacation, we are not serious collectors but we find pin trading fun and challanging. You see alot of adults trading, I think many of them turn around and sell them on ebay.
Some years it has been great fun and some years it has been not so good.
We will be doing some trading when we are down in September.

Get some pins on ebay and give it a try, but it can become addicting.

i have been pin trading since i was 16 i am now 23 will be turning 24 while is WDW in sept. I love pin trading and i am quite serious about it. i never sell my pins only trade. when i go down i see a lot of little kids pin trading but i also see lots of adults and the adults get quite serious and sometimes vendictive about the trading. i have had some VERY RARE pins stollen that how bad it is sometimes. but i have a whole lot of fun trading. especially in downtown disney.

Cool! I already have a few bids in on some groups of pins on EBAY to start me off with! It sounds like it will be a lot of fun! I can't wait until mytrip in the end of October.

I didn't notice any adults trading besides cast members,, but I say go for it!!!!

Just returned from the World 2 wks ago....)17mons until 6day/5night WDW trip and 3 day cruise) it was first trip for 5yo DD and my 20th. We both traded pins. I bought several lots on ebay before the trip. DD did most of the trading, but I did trade for a few pins of fav characters. We only traded with CMs, it was fun and we met people that we never would have met without trading.

We will be trading again on the next trip.

This website is great for starting pin traders. Adults can only trade with cast members who have a certain color lanyard (I think it's green). I see lots of adults who pin trade at WDW. Happy trading! Just be careful... it's very addictive!

Yes, many adults do pin trading. Check out the All Star Sports food court Thursday night and the Contemporary Friday night. And of course there is pin trading at Pin Traders at DTD every night.

There's also local pin trading groups (we belong to the Central Jersey Disney Pin Traders) that have meets all the time.

Actually, adults can't trade with CM's with the green lanyard. They are for kids only. Anyone else adults can trade with.
