Pin Trading Newbie Has Questions

I hope you don't mind some questions from a newbie. I bought some of the pins that were on sale at the Disney Store and plan on trading them for other pins the next time we go (November or December). Will CMs shun me because of these "generic" pins? I don't want to be embarrassed if I go up to a CM and offer one of my pins to trade and they look at me with disgust (okay, I may be stretching that a bit but you know what I'm getting at!). I can trade one of my pins for any of their pins as long as they don't already have it, right? Thanks for your help.

That is correct. You can trade any Disney copy righted pin for any pin they have on their lanyard as long as they don't already have it on...
