Pin trading at US/IOA??

I just saw people discussing pins on the something about nothing post. Do they do pin trading at US/IOA? My kids are pin collectors. They have lots of disney pins but they also collect pins from other places we visit. Just wondering if they do pin trading there and is it similar to how disney does it?

The last few weeks they have been doing pin trading. The ride ops don't do it much but merchandising and people at the turnstiles do. They've had it for years but only recently started it up in a big way. It's the same as Disney in the policy.

Pins are sold everywhere. In every merchandise shop through-out each park. they come in every character varieties and usually there are many different pins to choose from for 'each' character. I believe some of the kiosks also sell pins. Every ride/attraction that you exit is attached to a store that will sell that themes pin. I have many and they are great! You can also find different pin lanyards in the shops.
