Pin Trading at MK

Where does pin trading take place at MK? We'll be there Sunday and we have several pins to trade. We have an extra WV pin we're hoping to get something good with. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the collectors board, Sarah My best suggestion is to hold tight to that WV pin and be VERY sure of what you trade it for.

Pin trading is not only at MK but all over WDW. Probably the best place at MK would be Scoop's pin seminar at Expo Hall at 1:00 PM Sunday through Thursday. Scoop gives a great talk on pin making and pin trading etiquette. Scoop is definitely a character. Tell him Lauri and Matt from the DIS sent you. If you're at WDW Friday evening, go to the pin meet at the Contemporary on the 4th floor near the pin cart. There are a lot of great traders from this and other boards.

Also, traders tend to gather in Epcot near Pin Central, in the shadow of Spaceship Earth. Find the supertraders. Mike is a regular on this board (pinhook) and is a great guy and can offer advice.

Thank you all for the help. We have no idea of how to trade pins, so I guess we'll try to got to Exposition Hall.

We weren't even sure if the WV pin was still one of the popular ones. Does anyone have ideas of what to ask for in trade for it?

Sarah, I looked at pinpics, and if the numbers of their members trading that pin vs. those wanting that pin are accurate, the WV pin is in EXTREMELY HIGH demand. 117 people want the pin and 0 (that's zero, none, no one) is offering it for trade.

I'm not sure what might be an equitable trade for the WV pin. Probably a low LE pin, but maybe not the level of a Wet Paint or Mickey for President. Anyone else have any insight? What have other people traded the WV pin for, or traded to get the WV pin?
