Pin Traders Help- Air Travel?

Some help please from all you pin traders. Can we bring three lanyards filled with Disney pins and a bag with 50 or 60 pins in our carry on? I hate to check them as they are so expensive but don't want any problems at security. Thanks in advance!

Pins aren't a problem in carry on baggage

I always pack my pin bags and lanyard in my carryon bag and never had any problems.

We did have a problem with them once in a carry-on. Since then, we put them all in a large ziploc and leave them at the top of the carry-on. That way, if they aren's sure what it is in the x-ray, they can look in the bag and find it right away.

We always take pins in our carry-on. If we have a pin bag, we take it out and set it in its own bin along with lanyards thru security.
