Does anyone know where I can purchase pin sets here in Canada and mickey ears? I know disney store has Mickey ears, but very limited in pins. Our trip is a surprise christmas present and I wanted to get pin sets for them and engraved mickey ears!

You can always get pins on ebay, and check out disneyshopping.com.

I hope it helps.

I'm going in a month and could probably help you out if you'd like. I know how ridiculous shipping can be to Canada. I wanted to order a Dis shirt and the shipping is 11.00! Most things on Ebay are 20.00 to ship to Canada.

Try calling Disney World directly at 1-407-363-6200 or Disneyland at 1-800-362-4533 to order things. We have done this before when we wanted to order beanies, and the 50th anniversary mickey ears.

Hope this helps.

The canadian Disney store has some pins but I've never seen the lanyards there.

Why not get them Disney Dollars with some pins from the Canadian Disney store?

Thanks, guys!
I will check out Disney store again, maybe Vaughn Mills instead of Barrie, they seem to have more variety! and then try to call Disney to see if they can help me out!

I don't think you'll find the ears anywhere. I could always pick them up then ship them to you. I'm also in Ontario and they're pretty light so shipping probably won't be too much. :wave2:

HEY there! :welcome: to the party: come on in and enjoy yourself.

I totally agree with you ... got to Vaughan! Our son goes to Georgian College and we were excited when the mall was finished. Heck we figured we could tie in a trip to the store when we went to see him. BOY was I disappointed! Tiny little thing that was commpletly full of princess costumes and those I dunno for boys. I want a t-shirt for me and they had 2 choices. URGH. No pens, no doo-dads etc. BUT the store in Vaughan is actually a sorta clearance store so you never know what you will find but it is MUCH bigger!

Have fun looking & planning :cool1:

I went on e-bay and found pressed penny books! I thought they would like these even more, because our trip last December they loved , the pressed pennies and we made it our mission to find as many as we could! We were only there for 3 days though so we didn't find too many! I thought they would enjoy trying to fill up the book, and have something to look forward to! I also kinda though pins are pretty perosonal and they would enjoy picking out there own! As for Mickey ears, I remember coming across a thread reagarding having items in room for when you arrive, and though it would be magical to have ears waiting for them when we get there, looking like Mickey himself sent them. Just don't remember where I had seen that, does anyone else know? Do I contact Disney directly or is it a independent company? Planning this is making me so excited, can't wait till Christmas morning to se the looks on there faces!!!! :goodvibes

They discontinued that service, they were just trying it out during Magical Beginnings. Even then though, the items were delivered to your room some time AFTER you checked in. The kids will like picking out their own ears too probably as there are so many styles now. My kids also loved the pressed penny books. Don't forget to bring the little M&M mini's tubes loaded with 2 quarters and a shiny penny every other layer so the kids will always have the change on hand.

I forget do you need american currency for penny machines??? or Canadaian coins work too??? I am pretty sure it's american!

Well (imagine the voice from Bewitched here :happytv: ) you might hear different answers to this.
1st we are not supposed to deface anything with the queen's Face on it ... but I am sure a lot of peeps do

2nd our coins just don't seem to work as well. different metal content so they don't turn our as shiny

3rd they are just SLIGHTLY different size so the picture might turn out a bit messy

SO there you have it!

Thanks for that info, but can you press Quarters as well as I have only heard about the pennies

Yes, there are also some pressed quarter machines, but it costs a dollar to press them.

Wow so for one qauter I would have to pay $1. Well I will have to decide when we are there how many if any I will do as maybe will do a couple just to have them. But I will do the penny press for sure
