First off I am jealous :)

I am looking to see if there are people the received a pin that:

Haven't booked a resort stay with Disney yet (this year or in the past) but still received a pin code -did it come in mail or email or both.

Have a new online acct with disney researching vacations - how did you get your pin code - email or mail?

-We had our stay booked already, but my mom got one through the snail mail and she hasn't booked one in a couple years.

-My fiance's the one who got the pin and his online account was very new--less than two weeks. He got the pin by email (was in his spam folder, so don't forget to check that!)

I received my free dining pin before we booked our September trip. It was booked in January and I just received another free dining pin but in the mail this time. Wish I could share it!

We went last summer and the room ressie had myself, my husband, my mom, and my sister. My husband and I have different last names and were booked differently due to one of us having an AP. My mom and sister lived at a different address from me, but all of it was booked by me with my email address.

About 3 months ago (the time of year that we did our booking last year) I got 3 separate emails for the same offer (free quick service dining with a non-discounted package.) One with my husband's last name, one with mine, and the last one had my mom & sister's address linked to it. They were for the summer, but we didn't book because we don't need a package, and a discounted room-only is better for us.

I also got a free regular dining a month later for the fall which I can't use because I'm a teacher :headache:

I received a pin in January by e-mail that was the 23/30/40 room discount with dates that spanned this year. We've been to Disney many times before but did not have a trip booked for this year. We had the same old account we've had for a while. I do always request the planning DVD and play around with possible trip dates on the site. Honestly, who knows how they send these things out. I also got a QSDP free offer by postcard in the mail addressed to my Dad who has never lived here and never been to Disney with me. Crazy! :confused3

Here is some advice! There are ALOT of people getting pins with this!!

1)Go delete ALL of your saved offers
2) Create 2 itineraries with My Disney Vacation, 1 saying you NEED accommodations, one saying you are staying NON DISNEY RESORT.
3)Cross your fingers!!

On another thread many of us did this and had a pin within 24 hours!!

PIXIE DUST!

I have had a package reserved (deposit) for Oct 2010 since Aug 2009. I received a pin in the mail for the free QSD thats valid until Aug 2010...obviously cant use that one! That is the one and only pin I ever received in my life.

My mother gets them in the mail and Email every few months. Once one expires, she gets another! She never has rooms/packages booked and the only time she has been, other than when my sister and I were still young, is when she tagged along with my sister on I on our vacations....which were all booked with our addresses, Emails and phone numbers I will tell you though, she is a BIG spender and charges everything to the room. They know she spends money and Im assuming they have her address and info from photopass. That is the only thing she has given her info for at Disney since around 1985! I usually whip out cash to buy souveniers, tips, snacks etc..maybe they think Im cheap!!!
