So, I was reading the discount thread and read about PIN's but I'm confused as to what they are? What does a PIN do, and how do ppl get them? I got a code on an email about 2 weeks ago but I don't really know what it was? Now I'm wondering if that was a pin? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The pins usually come from Disney Destinations. Pin codes are occasionally sent out by Disney to specific people - they are not transferrable. Sometimes the pins are for room-only discounts, sometimes for free dining. Dates are usually involved, ie: must book by a certain date and/or only valid for certain dates - the dates are usually in the initial pin offer.
If you still have the e-mail - it should explain what the pin is for. OR You could call Disney and see if a pin is associated with your name (although some of the registration cast members do not always know about all offers).
It's a start.
Hope this helps.

Where do I sign up to get the emails?
Go to the disney website, sign up for the free dvd, that will get you in their system. The PIN's are random, no rhyme or reason as to who gets one.
