The school where I teach just started this program called "Gotcha!" It's basically where teachers say "Gotcha" when they catch a student doing a good deed. They get a ticket and then they get a dress down day at the end of the month (they wear uniforms). The kids are purposely being nice to one another when teachers are around in hopes of hearing "Gotcha!" Of course, it would please us a lot more if they could just act that way just because they're human and because it's just the right thing to do but hey, ya can't argue with incentive!
