Pin question

Okay, this is probably a stupid question that has been asked before, but when you put your pins on your lanyard, how can you get them to display in a specific order? I've seen people's pins that were in a certain pattern on more than one occassion, but it's always been random for me.

yup, I know what you mean, sometimes you see a really cool pattern, as cool as it would be it just doesnt work

Hey, it was actually a moderator who hijacked it first, and I can't get mad at a moderator. Plus, my question was answered, so No biggie.

Ever play those puzzle games where you have to slide the pieces around to make a picture. And only if you move things in the correct order will you get the desired picture. Well your pin display is kind of like this. I found if you keep playing around with adding and removing pins you may get lucky. Key word being LUCK, but it is possible.

My favorite are those who have two EYE Pins and are placed in the top right corner as if someone is looking through a set of binoculars at the other pins in the collection.

You can completely control how your pins appear. I make sentences, messages, patterns, etc... with my pins all the time. A few of my friends have figrured that out and try to guess my pin message.

You pins will appear left to right in the order that you put the on - the most recent appearing last.

The entire key is to look at your "clicked character window" NOT the "pins worn" window. You cannot control how they appear in the "pins worn" window, but that does not really matter, right?

It worked for me. They trick is to have your pin window up AND your current pins. So DON"T watch your pins worn thing watch your current pins. So add the pins in the order you want WHILE looking at your current pins.

I have been called a lot of things on this board, but I do believe this is the first time for genius - and by none other than Aengus (oh my!) blushing here. Of course there was a big if attached to it, wasn't there?

It works. Find me in game and we can play, "Can you arrange X?" Or I can just show you how I do it, for some magic maybe....

still didnt work for me LOL I had a friend from the boards try to. It worked fine up until like the last pin, then it went random. Then I got lucky and got a pattern I liked, but went to another room and it all messed up LOL.
