Pin Question

Hey everyone,

A few years ago my DH and I purchased the Rescuers movie with a litho and pin set from the Disney store. I had no clue about Disney pins but kept them in my cedar chest anyway. Now, since I've been educated by all of you Dis vets, I'm thinking that set of pins might be worth something. So... since the pin collecting is not one of my big things I'm thinking of putting the set on ebay to get some extra money for our upcoming trip. I'm not sure how much it might be worth though. The set has never been out of the plastic holder it came in and has 5 or 6 pins in it. It's in perfect condition. Anyone have any suggestions as to how much it might be worth? I know it's at least 7 years old because we got it before we had children but it's from the re-release of the movie, whenever that was.

Did you try searching for the same item on ebay to see if anone else was selling and at what price?

Check out www.pinpics.com as well to see what the trade to want ratio is. If there are alot of people trading and close to an equal amoutn wanting then it won't be too valuable. If there are very few people trading but alot of people wanting it, then you probably have a valuable set

A completed items search on ebay might give you a good idea as to where start your pricing.

Thanks guys, I checked out ebay once again and there are several sets on there just like mine. They are going for about $10 for the set but I'm thinking I'll just hang on to it for awhile longer. Thanks for the advice.

The book gets updated and new editions come out. Its alot of fun to look through.
