Can someone explain how to try to get a pin offer? What is the "save" method? Does one have to go on the Disney site and search booking dates to then get a code sent?
Argh!! I could really use a PIN code for our trip next month. I will be stalking the mail carrier and hoping this offer goes public. This would save me so much stress. We can afford our trip, but we could really use the extra money we'd save with an offer.
I received the pin code email and via regular mail. It was addressed to me using the name Disney has me under for my AAA DLR packages. So for this offer,
I received the Pin Code offers because I had stayed on property before. We have been to DLR the past five years in a row, taking a break this summer to see other sites, so cannot use the codes, bummer.
I think, IMHO, that if your order a vacation planning DVD from Disney, and save a trip on their website, you help your chances for getting pin code.
How to get a pin code has been discussed at length, numerous times. Every time someone says "This worked for me" there are several that it did not work for. It really does seem to be random. Many of us have tried a lot of the suggestions given and never receive a pin code.
There may be tricks that work (ordering the DVD worked for me in the past.) however, if have to say that this one was random because I received an offer addressed to my father, who lived with me for two years (and hasn't lived at my address for a year.) what's even more strange is that he's never booked a room at DL under his name. He stayed. There once at the GCH in 2009 in a room booked under my name.
