PIN Offer that I know why I got!!!!

Earlier this week, I was on Disney's website pricing out a vacation. I was logged into myvacations on the disney site. I did not book anything, I just saved the information. Today, I got an email stating that they had noticed I was looking at a Disney vacation and were happy to offer a PIN code to me if I would like to book. The email had the exact information in it that I was trying to book, ie same hotel, tickets ect. So maybe for those of you waiting this is worth a try.

In the past week I have gotten two pin codes to WDW and a pin code for Disney cruises for kids 17 and under to sail free on 7 day cruises. I guess Disney just likes me right now!!!

That's awesome. When I called a few weeks ago to book a last minute mini trip I was told I had a pin code offer and didn't even know it.

I recently received two Pin code, for the value at $495 p/p + park hoppers and the Disney Visa Rewards room only for January - February 2010, but both of those are not good for me. Two days ago I went to the Disney website, signed into my account and priced a vacation for my dates and hotel. Hopefully, this will work for me too and I'll get another offer. Just wishing and hoping

I got the same email this afternoon. I guess when I had originally played around on the website I hasn't chosen a resort. Funny thing is, I actually called Disney a few weeks ago and booked our vacation at POP for early May. I called as soon as I received the pin today and was able to apply it to our vacation package, saving us $173. I know there are better deals out there, but hey, I'll take anything!

I had the same thing happen to me. We booked a couple of weeks ago with a Buy 5 get 2 Free pin, but I was so jealous to read about the 40% off a delux pins that went out this week. I thought it was worth a shot to play around on the site and see if I could generate some pixie dust. It worked as we got the 40% off code last night which saves us an additional $262. I know I'm really lucky. I hope the pixie dust goes out to everyone else who is still waiting!

I did the same thing - logging on and saving a trip (one for March, one for June) Next day, indeed I get a pin code. For Nov-Dec!!! UGH!!!! The email even mentioned that they noticed the dates I was interested in, but the dates for the pin didn't correspond at all. But at least now I feel like there may be hope - the pin code fairies haven't completely abandoned me

Thanks for posting this! I never thought about doing that. I am ALWAYS pricing out vacations but I never save them so guess what I'm doing today???? I'm going to save them! I don't know if it will get me a pin, but it is worth a try - think good thoughts my way

The pins have been for Nov/Dec 2009, not 2010. It's too early yet.

I just got a PIN last week my 1st ever too!!! I did stay 3 nites over NYE then 4 nites in Aug this year tho... And I did a survey and gave disney a great review and wrote many good things in it... Hmmm maybe I can squeeze in a 3 niter in a deluxe for 40% off... I mean I am laid off and I got a car.... Hmmmmmmmm

I got a pin for just before and just after Halloween this year. Of course I'm booked for just after Halloween next year and can only pray I get another pin!

I didn't receive a PIN, so then I saved a room only item AND made sure to fill out the surveys when I didn't book as to why I didn't book. I started this on FRIDAY 10/23 and TODAY (Tues 10/27) at noon MDT, I got THE ELUSIVE PIN CODE!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad this information has helped others get an elusive PIN code. Tinkerbellie16 your offer is even better since it covers basically all of 2010. Mine stopped on June 12th but that was OK because we always go the first week of June once school is out.

Where did you see the surveys? I've done this a million times playing with different scenarios and have never seen a survey about why I didn't book.

I have always had them pop up just before I leave the site. Or sometimes while I am browsing around it will just pop up out of nowhere. If your pop up blocker is on you will not get it though. When you visit the disney site turn your pop up blocker off if it is on.

^^^^ OMG!!! Those dates are exactly what we've been looking for! We can only travel the last week of June into the first week of July. The one and only PIN offer we've received was for the $556/adult (room and tickets) for stays through 6/3/09. That didn't work for us since our vacation is pretty much written in stone for next year. This PIN you got would work out perfectly for us! Hubby and I would like to make a land-sea vacation through Disney in 2010 but the only way that will happen is if we get a discount for the dates around the cruise. Please, please, please Tinker Bell, send us some pixie dust!
