PIN exp. question...

If I book with a PIN now, room only, can I add tickets and dining later, without losing the discount, after the PIN has expired?

I could probably just purchase the tickets upon arrival without a problem, but am more curious about the dining plan. TIA.

The room only is just that -- a room only.
You will need to book a package for a dining plan.
You can book the dining package as soon as three days upon arrival, as long as there is availability.
Unless you paid your room only with a check, you will be refunded whatever you paid. And you need to pay the package deposit, or in full, depending on when you book your package.
It is much easier to just book a package at the start, if you know you will want tickets and a dining plan.

You can keep the room only booking, and buy tickets when you arrive. But that will not be a WDTC package. You will simply have a room only booking and tickets.

When I booked with my room only discount.. I did book a package as well.. my pin came with the stipulation that you needed at least a one day park pass added to the room only discount.. I was told however, that once you use your discount if you want to change resorts or add etc you are essentially "grandfathered in".. for example, if you booked a moderate, the pin expired but you decided to upgrade to a deluxe you could still use the old pin to upgrade..

As pp noted, they got their room only (PIN) discount. But changed it into a WDTC package since the stipulation was to buy at least a 1 day pass for each guest.
With booking a package up front, then a dining plan can be added within 3 days of arrival. That would just be upgrading or modifying your package.
