Pin display

We have tons of pins we have been collecting now for 10 years and they are in shadow box things but they aren't on the walls. I'd like to make something to put them on the walls - has anyone done this?

One idea DH had was to get round corkboard and do a large circle one and then two smaller ones to make mickey ears. Anyone used cork for the pins? Will they hold in the cork ok? I don't want pins falling off the wall.

The Mickey Head sounds like a fun idea. We glued cork onto pegboard and the pins are held very firmly. You'll see what else we did to make sure they stay on without moving...

We bought a dry erase board that has a wide cork board frame/margin around it from Target. We stuck Disney pins in the cork (they hold fine), and use the dry erase board to keep a countdown going for how many days till our next Disney trip!
