pin display case???

Does anyone have any ideas where I could find a collector's pin display case? I haven't seen one, but I think it would be about 15" x 18" or so & could be mounted on wall. It may have a glass door & you stick the pins on a padded wall mount/background. Any help on where to even look for one would be great! Thanks!

Try Michael's Crafts. their prices are high so be sure to look for their advertisement circular in your paper for a 40% off coupon. You can only use the coupon on merchandise that isn't on sale.

I have seen some nice ones there. I seem to remember the prices being around $40.

AC Moore or Ben Franklins (are they still around??) may have them too.


I just noticed that you live in New York. If you have a Christmas Tree Shop nearby try there. Some time ago they were selling pin frames for $7.99. I haven't seen any there lately but you never know.

we bought some shadow boxes at Michael's that we're going to use ... we're going to put cork under the velour so that we can just stick in the pins.

you can also find some nice locking display cases on ebay. I purchased some (handmade) that are 12x18x2 and are very beautiful and very well made. Usually you can find them by doing a simple search on "pin display case."

For the purpose of storing our traders, we have created our own pinboards. We took the craft foam sheets with the adhesive on the back and joined together 2 sheets, one thin and one thick to create the boards. They are really cheap and seem to work just fine holding the pins without letting them drop out. I think I spent less than $1/board. If it starts to wear out, I am not out that much money. So far, my boards are holding up nicely. Maggie
